Nothern Nyandarua Crescent Circuit is your resilience chase that forms a crescent shape based on the positioning of the covered peaks. If you have heard of Rurimeria or Seven Ponds, then you can picture where we are headed.
The hike starts at Geta Bushi, the same starting point for Rurimeria, and quickly diverts to the right past the gate to slightly past the second small valley where the ascent to Kanyundo begins. the ascent proceeds to where the sight of the moorland vegetation becomes clear, where you take another right diversion to the ridge that holds Kanyundo Peak.
Kanyundo Peak is the gateway to the open moorlands where we will proceed ideally straight ahead and then divert to the right to Maratini Summit. After a summit moment, we will head to Rurimeria (Optional climb to the pinnacle) and then finally to the Seven Ponds for a descent to Mikeu Shopping Center.
