Event Details

Kangere 1, 2, 3, & 4 Hydrotherapy Hike is a therapeutic waterfall chase along the Kiringa River at the slopes of Mount Kenya.

The hike starts at the Castle Forest Station and proceeds west through the lower forest, near plantations, and to the Kiringa River. Picture this: taking a beginner-friendly trail to the pure waters of Mount Kirinyaga and not going to only one but four waterfalls in one day. And not just that; picture yourself immersed in a natural pool bath at one of the waterfalls before returning to the city’s noise. Exactly!

This hike will take you to Kangere 1, Kangere 2, Kangere 3, and Kangere 4 waterfalls. At the heart of the experience will be crossing rivers and swimming at Kangere 2 Waterfall in the freezing mountain water. This hike is beginner-friendly and deserves a friend to accompany you. Come for another therapy with us.
