Lake Michaelson Overnight Camp- The Temple, Hall Tarns, Mushroom Rocks is a camping experience along the closest sceneries to Lake Michaelson, Mount Kenya.
This hike is for everyone who wants to experience Mount Kenya on a budget and have breathtaking scenery. The views include the mushroom rocks near Kanyakine, the lakeside camp, the lake view in the blue from Minto’s campsite, and a detour to the Temple Wall near the Mintos campsite. You will also be closer to Batian, Nellion, and Lenana peaks, which are very clear from the roof of the Temple.
The hike starts at Chogoria Road-End and ends at the same place. This will be a very satisfying weekend, suitable for everyone who is healthy and eyeing the therapeutic views along the Chogoria route.
