Event Details
Mount Elgon hike takes you to the summit of Mount Elgon. At the Kenya-Uganda border, this hike to the 2nd-highest mountain in Kenya is a scenic moorland rush on clear skies.
Located at the Kenya-Uganda border, Mount Elgon maintains some of the beautiful and thriving rainforests and stands as the largest Caldera in the world. This ultra sweepers’ edition of Mount Elgon starts at the road-end, through the trail to Koitoboss Peak, and off-trail through buffalo paths to Wagagai Peak. It then follows through nowhere to Sudek Peak before curving to meet the trail to Koitoboss on the return journey.
Sign up for an adventure today.
If you prefer super slow hiking, you can opt for a slower expedition to Koitoboss Peak.
