Trip Itinerary

| Day 1 | This will be the travel day to Moshi | -Leave Nairobi at 4:30 a.m. -Proceed to Moshi Town and spend the afternoon & night there. -Assess the hiking gear and get assistance if anything needs to be hired. -Relax, and have dinner, sleep for a start next day. |
| Day 2 | On this day, the hike will be mainly under a jungle of rainforests. You might come across black and white colobus monkeys. We will; | -Take breakfast at the hotel. -Take about an hour drive to Marangu Gate (1879m) & Register. -Start the trek to Mandara Hut (2720m) at 10:30 a.m. -You will have packed lunch or lunch will be served along the way. (This day will attract an elevation gain of 841m. The hiking distance is approximately 9km). |
| Day 3 | On this day, the hike will be through through a montane forest and then touch the moorland zone. Open vegetation such as giant lobelia can be spotted during this trek. We will; | -Rise up and take breakfast. -Start the trek to Horombo Hut (3720m) at 8.00 a.m. -You will have packed lunch or lunch will be served along the way. -Take dinner & continue acclimatizing. (This day will have an elevation gain of 1000m. The hiking distance is approximately 10km). |
| Day 4 | On this day, we hit the high altitudes. It will involve the trek along the alpine desert. We will; | -Wake up to breakfast. -Start a 9km trek to Kibo Hut (4720m). -Experience the open landscapes of the mountain. -Spend the early short night at Kibo Hut. (This day will attract an elevation gain of 1000m. The hiking distance is approximately 9km). |
| Day 5 | Welcome to the roof of Africa. We will; | -Rise up for early breakfast. -Start the trek to the summit (5895m) at 12.15 a.m. -Descend to Kibo Hut (4720m for breakfast. -Further descend to Horombo Hut to spend our last night. (This day will have an elevation gain of 1175m and a loss of 2175m. The hiking distance is approximately 21km) |
| Day 6 | On this day, we will be exiting the mountain, happy to have done our best. We will; | -Rise up and take breakfast. -Start the trek to Marangu Gate (1879m) at 8.00 a.m. (You will have lunch after park exit) This day will have an elevation loss of 1841m. The hiking distance is approximately 19km) -Have the items handover moment and issue certificates. -Pick a vehicle to Moshi for refreshments and sleep in the hotel awaiting departure the next day. |
| Day 7 | Back home like we never left. On this day, we will; | -Rise up and take breakfast. -Start the journey home. |
