Description

Mount Kipipiri Traverse is a traverse at the heart of the Aberdare Ranges. Of all the Aberdare Ranges, Mount Kipipiri is unique as the only free standing set of ranges and probably the lowest in altitude of the hikeable mountains in the Aberdare Ranges.

If you started hiking the other day, Mount Kipipiri traverse is a perfect hike to welcome you to high-altitude hiking and align you with the beauty inside and above the forest cover.

The hike begins at Geta Forest station and proceeds through a planted forest before meeting some indigenous forest zone to the rocky alpine summit. This Mount Kipipiri hike then features a short descent to the ending point.
